First, let me say that I obtained a copy from a mailing by Dr. Andy for $0.00. Let me also say that I've been a follower of him and his SEO news letter, and have also taken his Udemy course on SEO.Let me describe what I think this book is, and what it's not.
What it is is an oustanding checklist of things to setup, enable, and configure, on a WordPress site to cover *essential* SEO aspects. These are valuable configuration suggestions that no doubt offer a tremendous value for those who are new to SEO and how to configure the basics of a WordPress site for SEO.
What it is NOT is a book on SEO itself, writing quality content, keyword research, etc. Those "meat and potatoes" elements are not included in this book. You should find that information elsewhere.
Overall, this guide is a very good help in getting your WP installation setup and configured with SEO in mind. I highly recommend this as it provides a great deal of useful information that will help you prepare your environment.
But if you are looking for core SEO knowledge, I'd recommend looking to Dr. Andy's other words as well as his UDEMY course.

Wordpress is the de facto web authoring tool today and you would be well served to get this ebook to augment and learn Wordpress. I feel I can honestly recommend this as I do all Dr. Williams' books.
In my opinion, this book should be required reading for anyone with a WordPress site who wants to be found in the search engines. It contains a wealth of information on what to do, and maybe more importantly, what not to do, in order to optimize your site. Add some decent content and watch your site go up in the ranks.
This guide contains advice on site hosting, which themes are better than others and which plugins really help with your SEO. Excellent information!
I'm 100% disappointed in this book and I'm irritated I spent the time, money, and effort to go through it. Even if you're new to SEO don't waste your time or money on this, you can get better information by reading Yoast SEO blogs. I exspected this book to be more indebt information on SEO for wordpress, it was nothing more than setting up wordpress and some recommended plugins. The author was slick to regurgitate information in the book about the plugins he used, but all the information is already given by the plugins themselves. This book seemed to be nothing more then a bunch of blog post combined into 1 book in an unmeaniful way.
You got me this time , you got my money with this one.
